Your Responsibilities:

We are seeking a dynamic and driven DeFi Analyst and Educator for long-term employment who is passionate about customer success and ready to take significant action. This is an exceptional opportunity within a cutting-edge DeFi educational platform, where you will collaborate daily with the Director of Education, Product Manager, and fellow analysts/mentors.

Conduct 10 or more engaging live sessions each week, educating students on DeFi concepts ranging from novice to advanced levels.

Supported by industry leaders like a16z and Paradigm, we have successfully raised over $175M to spearhead the future of on-chain innovation.Role OverviewAs the Partnerships Lead for DeFi, your mission is to drive Total Value Locked (TVL) growth across the Superchain. You'll establish the overarching DeFi strategy while nurturing key relationships with leading protocols, encompassing asset issuers, decentralized exchanges, and liquidity providers. A key aspect of this position is to design and implement high-return, multi-party initiatives, and to share insights and best practices with our chain partners.Key ResponsibilitiesManage relationships with top-tier DeFi protocol teams, serving as the primary liaison, conducting quarterly business reviews, proactively addressing challenges, and ensuring that DeFi partnerships meet shared objectives.Contribute to the DeFi strategy and execution for OP Mainnet and the Superchain by overseeing the asset pipeline and collaborating with partners to create new markets, vaults, and sustainable yield strategies.Design and implement milestone-based incentive programs, monitor grant ROI, and collaborate with internal teams (Growth, Data, Product) to refine incentive strategies aimed at achieving sustainable business results.Lead strategic initiatives and thought leadership within the Superchain DeFi ecosystem by creating playbooks for TVL growth, showcasing the ecosystem’s advancements, representing Optimism at industry events, and identifying emerging trends and opportunities.Success will be measured by achieving 3+ Superchain chains with a $1B TVL within the next 12 months.
