ABOUT THE POSITION
In this role, you will focus on design and technical aspects as a pivotal member of our collaborative, multi-disciplinary team. You will work closely with design and technical leaders, contributing significantly to project teams. Your initial task will involve a healthcare facility exceeding 2.0 million square feet, located on the Mayo Clinic’s campus in Rochester, MN. Under the direct supervision of a Licensed Architect and project leadership, your main responsibilities will encompass the following:
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Independently and collaboratively contribute to conceptual and architectural design as part of a multi-disciplinary team, focusing on design, material selection, coordination, and architectural development.
- Prepare and assist in design presentations, including 3D visualizations and other illustrative graphics.
- Contribute to the production of the BIM model and related deliverables under guidance.
- Engage in project coordination across various disciplines.
- Possibly lead specific project issues or topics within the team.
- Review shop drawing submittals with oversight from the Project Architect.
- Participate in site visits as required.
- Attend and actively engage in project team meetings.
- Perform additional duties as assigned.
- Maintain professional business attire for client meetings, including suits, ties, collared dress shirts, dresses, and skirts.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
