Key Responsibilities and Skills:Act as the Subject Matter Expert for developing and implementing Desktop Operating System (OS) Images. Engineer scalable solutions for software deployment using technologies such as Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM) and Microsoft Deployment Toolkit (MDT). Design, test, and implement software distribution packages, ensuring timely updates for desktops, laptops, tablets, and servers within the enterprise. Gather and analyze user software requirements, providing informed recommendations. Demonstrate strong proficiency in scripting languages, particularly PowerShell and VBScript. Implement server OS deployment methodologies, including automated server build processes. Support OS patching infrastructure such as HCL BigFix or Windows Update/MECM, ensuring mandatory security updates across enterprise systems. Evaluate and recommend desktop, laptop, tablet, and server hardware solutions.
