Your Role

As the Developer Relations Specialist, you will take charge of fostering relationships with our developer community. This position offers significant autonomy and plays a crucial role in shaping how developers engage with Linq's offerings, ensuring they can efficiently discover, assess, and succeed using our tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain technical content including documentation, tutorials, quickstart guides, sample applications, and blog entries.

  • Engage with developer communities on platforms like GitHub, Stack Overflow, Discord, Reddit, X, and Hacker News.

  • Network with developers and tech founders in San Francisco.

  • Represent Linq at community events, hackathons, and industry conferences.

  • Develop code samples, integration guides, and enhance existing documentation.

  • Translate feedback from developers into actionable product insights.

  • Monitor API usage, developer satisfaction (NPS), and community engagement metrics.


Ideal Candidate

  • 2–5 years of experience in Developer Relations, developer advocacy, or a technical community-facing role.

  • Proficient in writing clean code and clear, concise prose.

  • Experience with APIs, messaging platforms, or infrastructure is a plus.

  • Demonstrates a scrappy, proactive approach to building and executing strategies.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience with AI/LLM technologies and messaging systems.

  • A personal developer following or significant contributions to developer communities.

  • Background in sales or customer-facing roles targeting developers.

  • Established network of developers, founders, and tech professionals in San Francisco.
