Role Overview: Development Specialist

The Durham, NC office is hiring a full-time Development Specialist. This position plays a key role in advancing World Relief’s mission by growing and maintaining relationships with individual donors, churches, foundations, grantors, businesses, and other partners. The goal is to secure funding for privately supported programs that serve refugees and immigrants.

This is a hybrid role: expect to work onsite in Durham four days a week, with one day remote.

What You Will Do

  • Build and strengthen relationships with current and potential donors, churches, and partners
  • Support fundraising efforts for programs benefiting refugees and immigrants
  • Help expand the network of supporters for World Relief’s mission in the Durham area
