Your primary responsibilities will include hands-on field service operations at customer sites, focusing on the installation of components and subassemblies, as well as basic commissioning of IEM equipment primarily in data center or industrial settings. Key responsibilities encompass:Participating in project meetings as necessary, coordinating effectively with contractors and clients.Installation and modification of electrical or mechanical components, including but not limited to: panelboard interiors, circuit breakers, bus bar, switchgear section doors and subpanels, and control components, power cabling, and control wiring.Conducting basic testing of modified assemblies (visual, ductor, etc.).Performing basic commissioning tasks for switchboards, control panels, and power products.Troubleshooting electrical circuits and networking equipment.Collaborating with the Technical Project Manager or manufacturing facilities to resolve product or commissioning issues identified by IEM or reported by customers in the field, and determining additional field resources required for installation and replacement parts.Executing preventive maintenance, field installations, and modifications to existing equipment.Providing technical product support.
