Uni Systems is growing its presence in Luxembourg and seeking a DevSecOps Engineer to help embed security throughout the software development process. This position supports both cloud and on-premises systems, ensuring that security is considered from initial design through deployment.
What you will do
- Evaluate, integrate, and maintain security solutions to advance DevSecOps practices.
- Develop scripts and APIs to streamline how vulnerability data is handled.
- Support the improvement of the Secure Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Manage and fine-tune application security testing tools, such as SAST and DAST platforms.
- Create Python automation scripts to connect security tools with different systems and platforms.
- Assist in deploying and integrating security solutions in cloud, on-premises, and containerized environments, including Kubernetes.
- Investigate vulnerabilities, assess their impact, and recommend remediation or patching steps.
- Conduct security assessments and vulnerability scans using both automated and manual tools to ensure compliance with security standards.
- Perform technical compliance checks for Linux/Unix and Windows systems against baseline configurations.
- Monitor logs and security events, troubleshoot issues, and support resolution processes.
- Contribute to risk analysis using established methodologies and best practices.
- Prepare technical reports, documentation, and presentations for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Stay up to date on emerging threats and new vulnerabilities through continuous monitoring.
