What We Seek:
We are looking for a dedicated Die Setter who will be responsible for setting up and changing dies on both small and large (200 Ton to 2500 Ton) Progressive, Secondary, and Transfer presses. This role requires adherence to prescribed Job Element Sheets (JES) and die setup sheets to ensure the production of quality parts that meet Challenge Manufacturing's Quality Standards, production schedules, and engineering specifications.
Your Responsibilities Include:
- Understanding and articulating the company’s Quality Policy.
- Comprehending job responsibilities and their impact on customer satisfaction and the fulfillment of the Quality Policy.
- Familiarity with the Quality Management System and its documentation structure.
- Understanding and explaining all relevant quality policies, procedures, and work instructions related to this role.
- Identifying and documenting any non-conformities in the Quality Management System.
- Engaging in preventative actions as appropriate and conducting corrective actions and problem-solving analysis as needed.
- Maintaining cleanliness in personal work areas and shared facilities.
- Observing and adhering to all safety, environmental, regulatory, and statutory requirements associated with this position.
- Participating in needs analysis and attending scheduled training and educational programs specific to this position.
