In this role, you will collaborate closely with Producers, Supervisors, and the broader Visualisation department to plan, schedule, and deliver Previs, Postvis, and Realtime projects for film and episodic productions.Your mission is to facilitate the best outcomes for our teams by ensuring smooth project execution. You will coordinate workflows, guarantee resource availability, and maintain clear communication, always balancing creative requirements with delivery deadlines.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee the daily organization of each project, ensuring production remains focused, informed, and on track. This includes planning timelines, monitoring progress across departments, coordinating key meetings and reviews, and keeping everyone updated with the necessary information.Manage scheduling and workflow tracking with effective communication.Plan resources and oversee project documentation.Support supervisors, artists, and coordinators throughout the project lifecycle.Handle resource management and collaborate with crewing and support teams to ensure the right talent is in place.Guide and oversee coordinators, fostering their development and delegating tasks as needed.Maintain precise project information in production tools and databases.Proactively identify challenges and assist in resolving issues swiftly and calmly.Coordinate client deliveries, oversee wrap processes, and conduct project post-mortems.Ensure secure handling of assets and information across all projects.

Role overview The Digital Matte Painter crafts photo-realistic environments, elements, and textures. These assets must blend naturally with live action plates or stand alone as digital matte painting (DMP) plates. Some creations are also used within 3D environments and mapped onto 3D objects. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.The Role:As a Creature FX Technical Director, you will play a pivotal role in crafting a wide array of dynamic simulations for character-driven projects, encompassing hair, clothing, skin, and muscle, along with post-simulation sculpting and final touches.Key Responsibilities:Develop simulation rigs for characters and creatures utilizing Maya nCloth, nHair, and both third-party and proprietary tools.Execute shots using simulation rigs and deliver completed assets to the Lighting department.Collaborate effectively with teams in Modelling, Rigging, Animation, Lighting, and Grooming departments.Contribute to the evolution of departmental tools and methodologies.Adhere to project timelines while upholding the highest quality standards.Present work for critique to leads, supervisors, and clients, and implement feedback as necessary.Maintain consistent communication with production and leads regarding project timelines.Stay updated with new tools, software, and technology relevant to the role.Work collaboratively within a team or independently to meet project objectives.
