Requirements5+ years of software development experience with a robust full-stack background (frontend, backend, APIs, database design). Proven experience in developing internal tools, operational automations, or enterprise integrations within a high-paced environment. Strong AI fluency with practical experience using AI as a development accelerant (prompt engineering, LLM APIs, code assistants) and ability to set standards for your team. Experience in governance, process design, or technical program management, demonstrating capability in building coherent systems and frameworks. Familiarity with enterprise system landscapes (ERP, CRM, PLM) and the integration patterns that link them. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

The Role

We are seeking a proactive Digital Solutions Lead to spearhead the design, development, and implementation of internal tools, workflow automations, and cross-functional applications within Slip Robotics. This individual will be pivotal in transforming operational challenges into efficient software solutions with speed and high quality.

In this role, you will lead a dynamic, results-oriented team that develops essential tools relied upon across the organization. You will also oversee Slip’s AI tool governance framework, managing the classification pipeline, tool reviews, and the promotion of AI-assisted technologies company-wide, while maintaining the Slip Hub as our central platform for tool delivery and governance.

AI will play a crucial role in your daily responsibilities, and you will set the benchmark for your team in utilizing AI to maximize productivity.

What You Will Do

  • Design, develop, and deploy internal tools, dashboards, workflow automations, and enterprise system integrations to address tangible operational challenges.
  • Own the productionization pipeline, transforming validated prototypes into production-ready solutions, complete with documentation, monitoring, and ongoing support.
  • Steward the AI tool governance framework, managing classification models, registration processes, service level agreements (SLAs), cost analysis, and quarterly reports to leadership.
  • Maintain and enhance the Slip Hub, ensuring it serves as an effective resource for discovering, accessing, and utilizing governed internal tools.
  • Lead and mentor a small team of developers and engineers, establishing technical standards, reviewing deliverables, and fostering a culture centered on speed and quality.
  • Act as the primary liaison for AI tool governance and internal tool delivery, facilitating cross-functional reviews and stakeholder communications.
