Role overview
The Director of Application Security will shape and lead n8n’s security strategy from the Berlin office. This role supports product innovation, enterprise expansion, and secure engineering practices.
Key responsibilities
- Define what “secure” means for n8n across the product, platform, and customer commitments
- Develop and maintain the security roadmap, set priorities, and guide decisions on key risks
- Serve as the chief security leader, ensuring visibility, direction, and accountability for security across engineering and leadership teams
- Establish foundational systems and build a team that integrates security into daily operations
