Role Overview
The Director of Growth leads digital demand generation across direct-to-consumer platforms, TikTok Shop, Amazon (in partnership with the Marketplace team), and paid social media. This executive is accountable for new customer acquisition, increasing customer lifetime value (LTV), scaling creator-driven campaigns, managing customer acquisition cost (CAC) and marketing efficiency ratio (MER), and developing a creative and media strategy that meets both effectiveness and compliance standards.
This position calls for a blend of performance marketing, creative strategy, data analysis, and cross-functional leadership. The Director of Growth will move the marketing organization from a nimble, startup-style model to a structured, multi-channel engine, supporting growth beyond $100M while keeping a close eye on contribution margins.
Strong experience in direct-to-consumer marketing, paid social, TikTok Shop, Amazon attribution, creator partnerships, and full-funnel performance optimization is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Growth Strategy, Forecasting & Performance Management
- Lead growth forecasting across direct-to-consumer, TikTok Shop, and paid social channels (Meta, TikTok, Google).
- Develop and manage weekly and monthly performance forecasts tied to CAC, MER, and contribution margin goals.
- Design channel scaling plans that factor in revenue, margin, and inventory constraints.
- Work with the Finance Lead to deliver accurate forecasts and profit and loss statements for each channel.
Performance Marketing & Media Acquisition
- Oversee all paid acquisition across Meta, TikTok, Google, and new platforms as they emerge.
- Build a structured testing process for hooks, angles, landing pages, offers, and creative formats.
- Manage budgets in line with CAC, payback periods, LTV, and contribution margin targets.
- Collaborate with creators to amplify high-performing content through Spark Ads and whitelisting.
