Qualifications
Key Responsibilities:Lead a dynamic team of mechanical engineers to swiftly design, develop, and test reliable, high-rate manufacturable mechanical, thermal, and electromechanical systems. Steer the development process from initial concept through design, analysis, manufacturing, integration, and testing, focusing on structural design, mechanisms, thermal interfaces, and system integration. Collaborate closely with leadership in engineering, supply chain, and production to meet targets related to vehicle cost, mass, reliability, and production rate. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to an expanding team of mechanical engineers. Work alongside systems engineering, avionics, propulsion, and operations teams to ensure flawless vehicle integration. Oversee design reviews, configuration management, and design-to-manufacturing processes.
