We are seeking an accomplished Project Management Director to lead our initiatives, foster growth, cultivate partnerships, and ensure excellence across our portfolio of Central Government clients in the London area.

This pivotal leadership role is integral to one of our key sectors. While the focus will be on Project Management services in London, the position will also promote collaboration across the UK&I region and all Programme, Project & Cost Management disciplines, aiming to enhance market growth and solidify our status as the partner of choice for our central government clients.

This role entails participation in client and supplier forums, performance evaluations, and strategic meetings, reinforcing our client delivery and relationships to ensure we are seen as trusted advisors.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Lead, develop, and expand our Central Government Project Management services across London, aligning with our long-term growth and service strategy.
  • Provide Senior Director-level oversight, strategic direction, and governance for client projects, ensuring our clients receive valuable insights and best practices.
  • Enhance our brand and revenue within the London Central Government sector through both existing and new clientele.
  • Identify key clients and opportunities, creating robust account management and opportunity capture plans to maintain a healthy pipeline.
  • Collaborate with our Central Government sector across the UK&I to nurture and expand existing client relationships, striving to achieve trusted advisor status.
  • Contribute to team growth by leading recruitment efforts and mentoring existing staff.
  • Oversee pursuit proposals, including capture strategies and proposal processes for public procurement.
  • Utilize the broader AECOM network and other business lines to strengthen our capabilities and work-winning strategies.
  • Implement and uphold AECOM's international standards for project delivery, quality, and budget management.
  • Supervise the delivery of large, complex, multidisciplinary projects for key clients in the sector.
