Who You Are
You are a dynamic technical and strategic leader with extensive hands-on engineering experience. Familiar with open-ended R&D environments, you have a proven track record of building hardware and the accompanying software from the ground up, overseeing projects from inception to operational support. Your expertise in delivering reliable tools fosters confidence among end-users. With a rich background in equipment understanding, you articulate the rationale behind hardware design based on fundamental process insights, as well as the mechanics, dynamics, controls, automation, and cause-and-effect relationships involved. You excel at empowering your team, ensuring the right talent is matched with the right challenges, while actively addressing skill gaps through training and hiring. Your leadership is characterized by trust, collaboration, and effective communication across diverse teams, including engineers, technicians, contractors, and managers.
You possess the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, demonstrating experience across all design phases from concept development to validation and handoff. By cultivating a strong, engaged team, you invite input and constructive debate at all organizational levels, set clear quality standards, and make transparent decisions.
