Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee the development of platforms and products tailored for market success.
- Navigate and manage projects within a matrixed organizational structure.
- Provide mentorship and support to team members in a collaborative environment.
- Foster a high-performance culture within the software engineering team.
- Lead with a servant-leader approach, setting a positive example for the team.
- Collaborate with peers and leadership to cultivate a positive team morale.
- Coach team members and hold them accountable for their professional development.
- Partner with the Sr. Director of Software Engineering to define and enhance engineering practices and tools.
- Ensure adherence to engineering standards, operational practices, and architectural principles.
- Communicate and escalate project timelines and deliverable issues promptly.
- Maintain scrum master responsibilities and oversee regular sprint backlogs.
- Drive execution of sprints in alignment with the software engineering roadmap.
- Facilitate training and enrichment opportunities for team members.
- Manage on-call rotations and ensure compliance with incident and change management protocols.
- Conduct performance reviews and manage talent evaluations.
- Required Skills: Advanced expertise with Salesforce.com CRM platform, including proficiency in Apex, Flows, Lightning components, and third-party integrations using platform events.
