Position Overview:
Thea Energy is actively searching for a Director of Systems Engineering to oversee the systems engineering aspects of our integrated fusion systems and prototypes. In this pivotal role, you will lead a diverse, interdisciplinary team in integrating cutting-edge technologies into a scalable fusion power plant architecture.
You will ensure seamless integration across all relevant engineering disciplines, workflows, requirements, interfaces, and standards within the company. Your leadership will involve mentoring and developing a high-performing team of systems engineers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment equipped to tackle the complexities of fusion energy.
The ideal candidate is a highly autonomous leader, capable of swiftly scaling a top-tier team and implementing the stringent systems engineering frameworks necessary for large-scale commercialization of fusion energy.
