We are looking for a skilled Distribution Engineer to join our team in Austin, TX, with the possibility of remote work within Texas. This pivotal role involves designing, analyzing, planning, and consulting for electric utility distribution systems.

The responsibilities include applying the National Electrical Safety Code for strength and clearance calculations necessary for both overhead and underground electrical distribution facility designs. You will also conduct construction inspections using these tools, as well as employ distribution system analysis software to evaluate steady state and transient conditions, contribute to long-range and capital construction planning studies, and perform protective coordination studies.

Additionally, there is the opportunity to engage in other distribution engineering services such as power quality assessments, reliability studies, distribution automation, smart grid initiatives, and communication systems.
