We are currently developing the tangible platform that will bring Spatial AI to life, focusing on high-performance robotic systems, starting with UAVs. We are in search of a hands-on operator eager to fly, demonstrate, and refine these sophisticated machines alongside us.
About the Role
As a Drone Assembly Working Student/Freelancer, you will be instrumental in ensuring our fleet of autonomous drones remains operational. Collaborating closely with our development team, you will breathe life into new drones where hardware and software converge, systematically testing their capabilities in real-world scenarios. Your contributions will significantly enhance our understanding of this technology and shape our future development trajectory.
What You’ll Work On
Integration & Checkout: Collaborate closely with hardware and software developers to complete integration and achieve flight readiness for new UAVs.
Flight Operations: Tune and operate a range of drones, from compact quadcopters to large fixed-wing aircraft.
Testing & Feedback: Lead qualification and development flight testing in the field.
Improvements & Suggestions: Identify bugs and design issues, propose enhancements, and assist in accelerating our development process.
Your Profile
You have hands-on experience in assembling, tuning, and operating drones, with 3+ years of professional experience or equivalent involvement in racing, competition, or enthusiast projects.
You possess a technical apprenticeship, Bachelor's degree, or equivalent training in a relevant technical discipline.
You are proficient with ground control software (like QGroundControl and Mission Planner) and flight control software (ArduPilot and PX4).
