Your Role and Responsibilities

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at ChannelSight, you will be the initial touchpoint for prospective customers. Your primary focus will be on driving outbound lead generation, qualifying leads, and securing meetings with our Account Executives. You will play a crucial role in educating potential clients about how AI-driven eCommerce insights can facilitate performance growth. This position is vital for establishing a consistent pipeline for revenue growth, allowing you to make a direct impact.

Lead Generation & Prospecting

  • Initiate outbound outreach through email, cold calls, and LinkedIn, targeting eCommerce leaders and key decision-makers in some of the world's largest brands.

  • Identify and prioritize target accounts aligned with ChannelSight's Ideal Customer Profile (ICP).

  • Engage prospects systematically through multi-touch engagement strategies using Amplemarket and LinkedIn Sales Navigator.

  • Maintain ambitious activity targets (50+ calls, 50+ personalized emails, and social engagements).

  • Collaborate with Account Executives to devise strategies for penetrating targeted accounts with the aim of arranging quality meetings.

Qualification & Handover

  • Evaluate leads by assessing their needs, budget, timing, and eCommerce strategy priorities.

  • Schedule qualified discovery/demo meetings with the Account Executive team.

  • Manage CRM activities on Zoho, including logging activities, updating lead statuses, and forecasting.

  • Design and execute engagement cadences on Amplemarket, ensuring all activities are tracked and up to date.
