This fully remote Business Development Representative role is based in the US Central region. The position offers hands-on training in outbound sales, relationship management, and the use of advanced technical tools. Success in this role opens doors to future careers in sales or marketing, especially for those with strong research and writing skills.
What You Will Do
- Identify new business opportunities using MinIO’s intelligence systems.
- Develop strategies to convert open-source users into commercial customers.
- Create initiatives to attract new enterprise clients to MinIO.
- Write personalized emails and outreach sequences to communicate the benefits of a commercial relationship, aiming to secure meetings and future business.
- Work with internal teams to develop persuasive sales presentations and proposals.
- Stay current on industry trends, competitor activity, and market changes.
- Share feedback with sales and marketing teams to refine lead generation efforts.
- Analyze performance data and adjust tactics for better results.
- Manage the full sales cycle, from prospecting through deal closure, while maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Use tools like SFDC, Hubspot, and Outreach to track interactions, progress, and conversion rates.
