Role Overview:

As an Outside Sales Representative, you will be the frontline force propelling revenue growth by identifying opportunities, challenging customer assumptions, and providing tailored solutions that address real-world instrumentation challenges. This position requires high energy, significant travel (up to 50-70% across Alberta, British Columbia, and beyond), and a relentless dedication to closing deals. You will report directly to the VP of Sales and have clear paths for advancement into senior sales, management, or strategic roles for top performers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Proactively Seek New Business: Identify and pursue new business opportunities through cold outreach, networking, and industry events. We are looking for someone eager to build a pipeline from scratch, expecting to allocate 20-30% of your time to proactive lead generation.
  • Challenge Customer Perspectives: Employ a Challenger Sales approach by educating customers on new insights regarding their operations, customizing solutions from our product portfolio (e.g., calibration tools, test equipment, rentals), and setting us apart from competitors. Focus on root-cause analysis to diagnose operational inefficiencies.
