Role Overview
The BOLD (Bridging Organization, Learning, and Design) team at DLR Group is looking for an Educational Learning Designer to join the national K-12 Education design group. This position is based in Houston or Dallas, Texas.
What You Will Do
This role supports schools and districts nationwide as they adapt to new learning space designs. The BOLD discipline works closely with DLR Group’s integrated design teams, connecting architectural design with educational goals. Ongoing collaboration with district clients includes coaching and workshops as educators and students transition into new environments.
The Educational Learning Designer guides the BOLD process, working directly with school stakeholders and design teams. Experience leading change within educational institutions and using innovative spaces is important for this position.
Key Responsibilities
- Work collaboratively, both virtually and in person, with the national BOLD team and DLR Group’s integrated design teams.
- Apply an entrepreneurial mindset to address challenges and pursue growth opportunities.
- Demonstrate confidence and a forward-thinking approach to deliver creative, accountable results.
- Facilitate meetings and workshops (virtual, in-person, or hybrid) using the BOLD process with district leaders, principals, and staff to support organizational change related to new spaces and evolving teaching practices.
- Provide individual mentoring and coaching for school stakeholders.
- Design and develop educational programs and materials tailored to client needs.
