Job Overview
We are looking for a talented Electrical Drafter to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be tasked with creating precise Schematics and Harness Assembly drawings that adhere to the specifications provided by our engineering team. These drawings will act as essential blueprints for the manufacturing of harnesses. The ideal candidate will possess a solid grasp of technical drawing principles, proficiency in Zuken E3 or similar software, and the capability to convert intricate details into clear and accurate representations. Attention to detail, problem-solving abilities, and effective collaboration with team members are crucial for the successful completion of projects.
Responsibilities
Generate comprehensive harness assembly drawings using Zuken E3, ensuring all necessary information for manufacturing and installation is present (including wire lists, connector callouts, labels, and notes).
Work closely with engineers to integrate design specifications into your drawings.
Review and modify drawings to ensure compliance with project specifications and industry standards.
Utilize NX CAD software to design and route harnesses in 3D according to design guidelines.
Stay informed about military and industry assembly standards, such as IPC/WHMA-A-620.
Offer technical support and troubleshooting guidance during harness construction and its integration into vessels.
Organize and manage documentation and filing systems for all drawings and project records.
Maintain clear communication with project managers, clients, and other stakeholders.
Qualifications & Skills
Expertise in computer-aided design (CAD) software including NX, AutoCAD, or SolidWorks.
Minimum of 5 years of experience with Zuken E3, Siemens Capital, or similar electrical schematic tools.
In-depth understanding of electrical engineering principles.
Exceptional communication and teamwork abilities.
Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Capability to interpret and understand complex technical drawings.
