Role Overview:
We are on the lookout for an Electrical Engineer at all experience levels to design, develop, and enhance the electrical systems that integrate cutting-edge computing hardware, sensors, and power systems.
Your Impact:
Architect and select components for complex embedded electro-mechanical and optical systems.
Lead detailed design processes for main logic, interconnect, power, RF, and sensing systems surrounding a mobile System on Chip (SoC).
Integrate advanced cameras and imaging electronics into our systems.
Apply Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principles to ensure high-quality mass production.
Develop and execute validation plans for system electronics.
Address reliability, yield, and performance challenges throughout development and production phases.
Qualifications:
Proven experience in delivering high-volume consumer electronics in a senior or architect capacity.
Expertise in mobile SoC design.
Strong skills in high-speed digital design.
Experience with connected products (WiFi, cellular).
Ability to troubleshoot EMI/RF issues.
Familiarity with scripting/programming in Python and C.
Compensation: At Skydio, we offer competitive base salaries, equity through stock options, and a comprehensive benefits package. Salary varies based on skills, experience, and other factors. The annual base salary for this position ranges from $127,500 to $240,000.
