Qualifications
Your Role:
Design and build prototypes and production electronic systems, including circuit design, PCB layout, embedded firmware development, and validation.
Take ownership of projects rather than just skills—this role is intended for a versatile engineer focused on delivering products, not solely specializing in one area of electronics engineering.
Extend your responsibilities beyond the circuit board—design subsystems such as sensors, actuators, and optoelectronics, balancing electrical and mechanical needs.
Support your design choices with data acquired from simulations and experimentation.
Develop professionally: engineers at Formlabs have evolved into technical experts, system architects, product technical leads, and team managers. We nurture talented individuals to grow in any direction.
About You:
Possess a minimum of 2 years of experience in designing and troubleshooting electronics for product integration.
Be an electrical engineering generalist, comfortable with both analog and digital design, PCB layout, validation, and debugging methods.
Have a hands-on approach and be eager to support your designs throughout the product lifecycle, from initial research to resolving field issues.
