Your Role
As an integral member of the Electrical Engineering & Firmware team, you will have the unique chance to shape the electrical design of our home robotics platform. This encompasses essential areas such as sensing, networking, computation, and power management.
You will work closely with our mechanical and software teams to seamlessly integrate electrical systems into our robotic and wearable technologies, establishing the hardware backbone of our mission to redefine home robotics.
Your Responsibilities
Design and develop rigid and/or flexible PCBAs, including schematic capture, simulation, and board layout.
Lead the bring-up of boards and systems.
Create and implement validation testing plans for boards and systems.
Troubleshoot and diagnose units in the field.
Develop and refine testing software for PCBAs.
Your Qualifications
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
A minimum of 2 years of PCB design experience, including schematic capture, board layout, manufacturing, and test/debug.
Proven experience taking at least one project from the prototype stage to production.
Familiarity with hardware validation cycles and methodologies for debug and measurement.
Hands-on experience with lab bring-up, debugging electronic systems, root cause analysis, and manufacturing testing processes.
Experience in high-speed design.
Knowledge of wire harnesses, cabling, and connectors.
Strong ability to assist colleagues in diagnosing EE issues on development robots.
Preferred Skills
Experience with robotics and automation systems.
Proficiency in programming languages relevant to embedded systems.
Familiarity with industry-standard design tools.
