About the job

Join Hadrian - Pioneering the Future of Manufacturing

At Hadrian, we are revolutionizing the manufacturing landscape by building autonomous factories that empower aerospace and defense sectors to produce rockets, satellites, jets, and ships with unprecedented efficiency, up to 10 times faster and half the cost. Our integration of cutting-edge software, robotics, and comprehensive manufacturing processes is setting a new standard in American production.

We are rapidly expanding with the launch of Factory 3 in Mesa, Arizona, a state-of-the-art 290,000-square-foot facility that will create 350 new jobs, alongside plans for further growth including naval production through Hadrian Maritime and a Factory-as-a-Service model that provides complete systems instead of just individual components.

Backed by top-tier investors such as T. Rowe Price, Lux Capital, Founders Fund, and Andreessen Horowitz, our dynamic team is dedicated to the reindustrialization of American manufacturing for the 21st century and beyond.

Your Role

We are in search of an Electrical Engineer to enhance our Special Projects division. This pivotal role involves hands-on machine assembly, panel layouts, and industrial systems. You will take charge of the electrical design and construction of our robotic machining cells, overseeing control panel configurations, machine wiring, harnesses, drive systems, safety circuits, and the power distribution at the cell level. Your role will be highly interactive, requiring you to install and commission directly on the shop floor, rather than merely providing drawings.

Please note, this is not a board-level or PCB design position; we are specifically looking for an industrial/machine-build Electrical Engineer with practical experience in real cells, panels, and control cabinets.

You will collaborate closely with mechanical, controls, and operations engineers to transition cells from initial concept to mass production, while establishing the industrial electrical standards that will guide the automation team.

About Hadrian Automation
