Role Overview
As an Electrical Engineer specializing in Photonics, you will engage with our comprehensive product line, from ground-based telescopes to sophisticated on-orbit optical payloads. Your role will involve designing, integrating, and validating photonic and electro-optical systems that facilitate high-performance sensing, imaging, and data acquisition in both terrestrial and extraterrestrial environments.
This position is pivotal, blending electronics, optics, and physics. You will take charge of the electrical design and integration of optical sensors, detectors, laser systems, and high-speed signal chains, ensuring optimal performance under challenging conditions such as extreme temperatures, vacuum, radiation, and prolonged autonomous operation. Collaboration with optical, mechanical, and software teams will be essential to deliver seamlessly integrated systems.
