Each project offers unique challenges, and contributors may be involved in:

  • Developing problems that necessitate Python programming for solving engineering calculations and simulations;
  • Ensuring tasks are computationally demanding, utilizing numerical methods or iterative solutions;
  • Designing problems related to system optimization, design, and analysis;
  • Formulating challenges based on genuine research problems or practical engineering applications;
  • Validating solutions using Python with established engineering libraries;
  • Clearly documenting problem statements and providing verified correct solutions.

Candidate Profile

This opportunity suits engineers experienced in Python, looking for part-time, project-based engagements. Ideal candidates will possess:

  • A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline;
  • Proficiency in Python for numerical validation; familiarity with MATLAB, R, C, SQL, Numpy, Pandas, SciPy, or any equivalent programming language is acceptable;
  • A minimum of 2 years of relevant professional experience, whether in applied work, research, or teaching;
  • A solid understanding of practical engineering constraints and approximations;
