The Electrical Ground Systems Technician (Contract) position is based in Phoenix, Arizona. This role focuses on installing and maintaining ground systems that support Zipline's autonomous drone operations. Attention to detail, adaptability, and a commitment to safety and quality are central to the work.
Key responsibilities
- Install, configure, and commission ground systems at new sites, ensuring quality control for electrical and network systems.
- Identify and resolve basic electrical and network issues, focusing on foundational configurations (not electrician-level work).
- Perform maintenance and upgrades to keep systems reliable and maximize uptime.
- Collaborate with engineering and other teams to document and address technical challenges.
