Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate clearly and effectively. Experience in planning, scheduling, and budget management, coupled with a keen eye for risk analysis.

PM2CM is thrilled to announce a long-term opportunity for a proactive, organized, and results-driven Project Manager to lead electrical infrastructure projects for one of the largest utility companies in Southern California. While prior experience in electrical infrastructure is highly desirable, we welcome applications from Project Managers with over 7 years of proven experience in various construction sectors, as we believe core Project Management skills are transferable.

This position is based in Pomona, CA with a Hybrid-Remote work model (in-office/field on Tuesdays and Wednesdays).

As a Project Manager at PM2CM, you will play a pivotal role in managing electric infrastructure projects, contributing to our mission of powering the planet, reducing carbon emissions, and fostering cleaner air for all. Are you ready to rise to the challenge and help us build a sustainable future?

Your Daily Responsibilities:

  • Oversee multiple construction projects across various phases including Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Closeout, ensuring they span a minimum of 24 months.
  • Authorize project initiation by ensuring all prerequisites for timely construction commencement are met.
  • Coordinate effectively with multiple stakeholders and manage deliverable hand-offs efficiently.
  • Exhibit excellent communication skills to relay project status, progress, budget, and cost information to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Facilitate project team meetings, documenting key decisions and action items for relevant parties.
  • Address issues swiftly, prioritize tasks, and mediate conflicts among team members and functional managers.
  • Demonstrate strong competencies in Planning, Scheduling, Cost Tracking, Budget Management, Risk Analysis, and Mitigation.
