Electrical Integration Associate - RF (Fall 2026)

This role as an Electrical Integration - RF Associate typically spans twelve weeks and is a salaried position tailored for candidates who have already earned a bachelor’s degree (or will obtain one prior to starting at Astranis).

As an Electrical Integration - RF Associate, you will have the unique opportunity to tackle challenging problems. We take pride in providing every member of the Astranis team with the chance to work on significant projects that are as demanding and critical as the ones assigned to our full-time staff. Many former Associates have contributed to the design and testing of hardware and software destined for our inaugural satellite launch, with many transitioning to full-time roles at Astranis.

Role Responsibilities

  • Collaborate within an interdisciplinary team to design, construct, and evaluate satellite hardware and software.
  • Engage with the Electrical, Mechanical, Radio Frequency, and Propulsion engineering teams to formulate assembly and integration test plans and procedures based on conceptual designs.
  • Gain proficiency in operating various testing equipment and instruments (thermal chambers, vibration tables, DAQs, oscilloscopes, etc.) to effectively carry out test plans.
  • Coordinate efforts related to assembly, integration, and environmental testing.
  • Assist in resolving intricate electrical, software, and mechanical challenges within an integrated system.
