This two-and-a-half-year contract role will leverage your NORSOK expertise on dynamic and stimulating projects, starting in Singapore and transitioning to Norway.
Your daily responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing all electrical construction operations, focusing on quality, scheduling, and Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) standards.
- Tracking work progress against project plans, identifying issues, and suggesting corrective measures.
- Supervising and managing local electrical inspectors within the yard site team.
- Collaborating with contractors to address construction-related inquiries and engineering tasks.
- Monitoring engineering issues related to construction and ensuring timely deliveries.
- Protecting and preserving systems and equipment throughout the project cycle.
- Ensuring that fabrication documentation is completed by contractors as per requirements.
- Working proactively with contractors to minimize punch list items, ensuring readiness for handover to commissioning.
Your qualifications will include:
- Experience in shipbuilding or oil and gas floater projects in Norway.
- In-depth knowledge of Class, NORSOK, and NCS regulations.
- Familiarity with ProCoSys software is preferred.
