Qualifications

Design and implement innovative environmental, RF, mechanical, and electrical test solutions for ground antenna electronics and payload. Conduct thorough failure analysis of ground antenna hardware, pinpointing root causes of failures and enacting corrective measures. Choose commercial-off-the-shelf hardware and/or create custom PCBAs to measure signals, apply flight-like loads, and power testing units. Provide hands-on support for hardware throughout design qualification, production ramp-up, and ground network deployment. Collaborate closely with engineers from related disciplines (mechanical, thermal, software, test engineering, supply chain, silicon design) to deliver high-performance, integrated hardware. Execute electrical bench testing of failures to replicate issues and inform mitigation strategies.

As an Electrical Test and Reliability Engineer for Starlink, you will play a pivotal role in designing, building, and testing electronics for the world's largest network of ground stations. These stations act as critical links between satellites and end-users, ensuring seamless data transfer and transmission. You will collaborate across disciplines, electrical, mechanical, thermal analysis, software, and antenna engineering, to guarantee that our ground antenna hardware can endure harsh environmental conditions while maintaining reliable communication with millions of users globally.
