About the Role
We are on the lookout for an Electrical Test Engineer who will play a pivotal role in the deployment, maintenance, and enhancement of our in-house automated manufacturing testing systems for battery backup solutions. As a crucial member of our engineering team, you will ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and performance, thereby driving the success of our projects. A true passion for engineering and the ability to thrive in a dynamic, entrepreneurial setting is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Lead initiatives aimed at improving uptime, including hardware reliability, software fault resolution, and maintenance schedules for manufacturing test equipment.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that manufacturing testing equipment not only meets but exceeds performance expectations, while addressing any shortcomings that arise.
Conduct proactive data analysis and engage in Voice of Customer (VOC) discussions to identify challenges associated with manufacturing test equipment, advocating for solutions that align with both equipment and production objectives.
Possess a strong understanding of the engineering principles behind test equipment and maintain a holistic view of operations to serve as a primary point of contact for design teams and site operations.
Design, assemble, and validate test equipment before deploying it to production lines at contract manufacturers and internal facilities, ensuring thorough documentation for a smooth transition to production.
Provide ongoing troubleshooting support for testers post-deployment.
Support troubleshooting and qualification efforts during the development and scaling of manufacturing equipment.
