Our aim is to innovate and manufacture safe UAS for both defense and civilian markets. We seek a passionate Electrical/Mechanical Engineer with a keen interest in designing Electrical Wiring Interconnect Systems (EWIS) for unmanned aircraft. Your Responsibilities
- Engage in the complete aircraft design and development cycle for state-of-the-art fixed-wing small and tactical Unmanned Aircraft Systems (UAS) catering to defense and security applications, including certification.
- Design and develop EWIS in compliance with UAS requirements and regulatory standards.
Collaborate with:
- Systems engineers to gather electrical design specifications.
- Structural aeronautical engineers for trade-off analyses regarding EWIS weight, routing restrictions, and mounting considerations.
- Create 3D model-based definitions of the EWIS adhering to designated design standards (e.g., SAE ARP 50881).
- Utilize industry-standard tools for electrical design and documentation, partnering with EWIS production engineers for manufacturability.
- Prepare and evaluate wiring diagrams, harness layouts, installation drawings, schematics, and formboards for production.
- Assist in certification processes, including the development of compliance documentation and coordination with regulatory bodies.
