Qualifications

Proficient electrical knowledge complemented by mechanical experience. Qualified in a similar position, ideally at NVQ Level 3.Apprentice-trained and familiar with the 18th Edition Wiring Regulations. PLC fault-finding skills are a plus. Experience in mechanical fitting, welding, fabrication, and general machining is advantageous. Skilled in reactive and planned maintenance of electrical systems managing hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors (belts, chains, rollers, bearings, gearboxes, motors, etc.) and proficient in reading technical drawings.

This role offers a full-time schedule from Monday to Friday, ensuring a work-life balance with 40 hours each week. In your new role, reporting directly to the Site Engineering Manager, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the seamless operation of our production processes. You will tackle engineering downtime through a proactive, logical approach to fault finding and maintenance. This position involves working on a shift schedule, with shifts from 06:00 AM to 2:00 PM and 2:00 PM to 10:00 PM.
