About the job
About Matter Intelligence
At Matter Intelligence, we are pioneers in developing cutting-edge Earth-observation systems that integrate innovative sensing technologies with spacecraft and airborne platforms, all enhanced by AI-driven data analysis. Our advanced systems enable unprecedented insights into the physical world, spanning from molecular chemistry to 3D structures, across both spaceborne and airborne missions.
Our team is proud to have delivered groundbreaking technologies to Mars for NASA/JPL, engineered advanced sensors for U. S. defense initiatives, and constructed core infrastructure at OpenAI. We are on a mission to create the next generation of space-based and airborne sensing systems.
We are committed to craftsmanship, precision, and a strong sense of pride in producing hardware that meets the highest performance standards.
About the Role
We are currently looking for an Electromechanical Technician to play a crucial role in the assembly, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of sophisticated electro-mechanical and electro-optical systems. This position is hands-on and collaborative, requiring close interaction with engineers to build, test, and prepare both flight and experimental hardware.
This role supports high-reliability R&D and flight hardware, and is not focused on high-volume production. A keen eye for detail, strong documentation discipline, and comfort working with precision systems are essential attributes for success in this position.
