Key ResponsibilitiesAssembly & IntegrationExecute electro-mechanical assembly of subsystems and systems, including the installation of PCB assemblies into chassis, mechanical structures, enclosures, and opto-mechanical hardware. Interpret engineering drawings, schematics, specifications, and written assembly procedures to assemble hardware accurately. Route, secure, and dress wiring, harnesses, and connectors to aerospace workmanship standards. Assist with precision optical and mechanical alignment activities under the guidance of engineers. Utilize precision calibrated tools such as torque wrenches, micrometers, calipers, microscopes, and soldering equipment. Electronics & WorkmanshipConduct soldering and rework on through-hole and surface-mount components. Support epoxy application, thread-locking, masking, and conformal coating processes as needed. Implement ESD-safe handling practices and uphold cleanliness protocols suitable for high-reliability hardware.

About the Role

We are currently looking for an Electromechanical Technician to play a crucial role in the assembly, integration, testing, and troubleshooting of sophisticated electro-mechanical and electro-optical systems. This position is hands-on and collaborative, requiring close interaction with engineers to build, test, and prepare both flight and experimental hardware.

This role supports high-reliability R&D and flight hardware, and is not focused on high-volume production. A keen eye for detail, strong documentation discipline, and comfort working with precision systems are essential attributes for success in this position.
