Role overview
The Electromechanical Technician I works dayshift hours (Monday through Thursday, 7:30am to 5:30pm) at the Midland, Texas facility. This position supports the assembly, integration, and testing of satellite mechanism subsystems. Daily work involves hands-on tasks with deployment systems, actuators, hinges, latches, and other precision-moving parts.
Main responsibilities
- Assemble and integrate mechanical and electrical components for satellite subsystems
- Test deployment systems and related hardware
- Follow strict aerospace standards and procedures
- Work in a cleanroom environment with careful attention to detail
