High school diploma or equivalent; at least 1 year of mechanical tool experience. Preferred: Associate degree, 6+ years with wire harnesses/electronics, fast-paced production experience, strong communication and teamwork skills, attention to detail.

Join our team as an Electromechanical Technician for the Starshield project!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fabricate and assemble high-quality, high-reliability electromechanical systems.
  • Monitor your progress against established benchmarks to ensure timely completion of tasks.
  • Interpret mechanical drawings and controlled documents, including assembly procedures and GD&T.
  • Log your work in our ERP system and communicate via email (MS Outlook).
  • Verify flight hardware and accurately document the results.
  • Contribute to the development of production processes for initial production runs.
  • Assist in projects aimed at improving area efficiency.
  • Conduct tests in HASS/HALT and thermal environments.
  • Identify quality-related issues stemming from workmanship, vendor defects, or design flaws.

Basic Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • At least 1 year of hands-on experience with mechanical tools.

Preferred Skills and Experience:

  • Associate degree is a plus.
  • 6+ years of experience with wire harnesses and/or electronic equipment.
  • Experience in fast-paced, production-oriented environments working with flight hardware.
  • Expertise in fabricating harnesses and electromechanical assemblies or prototype development.
  • Ability to thrive in a dynamic work environment with shifting assignments.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, and a collaborative approach.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with a commitment to quality and efficiency.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to work all shifts, including weekends and overtime as necessary. Typical start times: 1st shift (5 am), 2nd shift (3 pm).
  • Ability to stand for extended periods.
