Position Summary
We are seeking an Embedded Global Security Operations Center (GSOC) Analyst to join our dedicated 24/7 team. This role is based in Minneapolis, MN and reports to the GSOC Supervisor.
As a GSOC Analyst, you will be pivotal in monitoring physical security operations, identifying and assessing risks, and documenting incidents to evaluate their potential impact on our client’s business, personnel, and facilities. Utilizing a diverse range of tools such as global access control systems, alarm monitoring systems, CCTV, and threat intelligence resources, you will play a crucial role in detecting and reporting security threats and incidents, which may involve political unrest, terrorism, natural disasters, or technical failures.
This position requires flexibility to work weekends, holidays, and rotational shifts. The designated shift for this position is from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Friday through Tuesday. GSOC Analysts will need to adapt to the evolving work schedule and workload, demonstrating independence while being an integral part of a global team.
Daily management will be provided by the Embedded GSOC Supervisor, while also reporting to Sibylline’s Intelligence Operations team. We offer comprehensive support and guidance from our head office, including extensive training and opportunities for professional development.
Essential Functions / Responsibilities
- Monitor security alerts, surveillance feeds, and threat intelligence sources in real-time to identify potential security incidents.
- Evaluate security events to assess their severity, origin, and potential impact on the organization.
- Respond to security incidents promptly, initiating appropriate response procedures and coordinating with internal teams, law enforcement, or emergency services as necessary.
- Gather and analyze relevant threat intelligence to proactively address emerging risks and trends impacting security posture.
- Maintain thorough documentation of all security events, incidents, and responses in incident management systems for comprehensive post-incident reviews.
- Communicate timely updates to stakeholders, including clients and management, regarding ongoing security situations.
- Identify incidents requiring escalation and adhere to established protocols for swift resolution.
