YOUR ROLE
As an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician, you will be a vital part of our frontline team in emergency veterinary care, where every moment matters. You will engage with a variety of cases, from the routine to the critical, collaborating closely with our veterinarians and support staff to deliver exceptional, compassionate care. This role encompasses triage, diagnostics, treatments, anesthesia, monitoring, and critical care nursing, all while providing a calming presence to pet owners in their times of stress. We seek individuals passionate about utilizing their skills in a meaningful way and eager to grow within the field.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Treat every patient and client with utmost respect, ensuring their emotional and physical well-being throughout their experience.
- Deliver nursing care, treatments, and emotional support during critical moments from initial triage to discharge.
- Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform advanced procedures such as IV placements and blood transfusions.
- Communicate effectively with team members and contribute to care planning, ensuring seamless patient management.
- Be prepared to execute life-saving CPR techniques, supported by our extensive training programs.
