YOUR ROLE
As an Emergency Credentialed Veterinary Technician, you will play a crucial role on the front lines of emergency veterinary care. You will handle a variety of cases ranging from minor to complex emergencies, collaborating closely with our team of veterinarians to deliver top-notch, empathetic care. Your responsibilities will include triage, diagnostics, anesthesia administration, monitoring, and critical care nursing, all while offering support to pet parents during their most trying times. We seek individuals who are eager to apply their training, enhance their skills, and make a positive impact in the lives of pets and their owners.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Treat every patient and their owners with the utmost respect and care, ensuring a supportive experience throughout their visit.
- Provide immediate nursing care, emotional support, and treatments during critical situations, from triage through discharge.
- Administer medications and perform monitoring tasks with proficiency—from IVs and CRIs to blood transfusions.
- Communicate effectively as a team member and contribute to care plans, ensuring a seamless flow of treatment.
- Be prepared to perform CPR, showcasing your expertise through our RECOVER training program, which boasts the highest number of certified professionals in the field.
