The Energy Solutions Engineer - Electrical plays a pivotal role in enhancing electrical energy efficiency solutions for clients. This position involves the thorough analysis of energy consumption patterns, proposing necessary upgrades to electrical systems, and managing the deployment of advanced energy solutions, including Energy Management Systems (EMS), smart LED retrofits, and power factor correction. The engineer will work collaboratively with business development, auditing, and project management teams to deliver sustainable and cost-effective energy solutions.

Key Responsibilities

1. Design of Electrical Energy Efficiency Solutions

Create tailored electrical energy-saving solutions based on energy audit results.
Design and implement power factor correction, EMS, and smart lighting systems to enhance energy efficiency.
Conduct load assessments and simulations to optimize energy use.
Ensure compliance with relevant standards including EECA, IEEE, IEC, and local electrical regulations.

2. Technical Analysis & Project Development

Perform power quality assessments and energy efficiency evaluations.
Recommend and evaluate electrical energy efficiency solutions to facilitate energy savings.
Collaborate with Energy Analysts to interpret utility bills and analyze electrical demand data.
Assist the Business Development team in crafting technical proposals.

3. Project Management & Implementation

Coordinate with contractors and suppliers to supervise the installation and commissioning of electrical energy efficiency solutions.
Ensure project adherence to safety, quality, and energy performance standards.
Validate the performance of systems to meet targeted energy savings.
Address and troubleshoot technical issues during project execution.
Engage with stakeholders to understand their energy objectives, address concerns, and provide updates on project progress and performance.

4. Innovation & Continuous Improvement

Explore and integrate cutting-edge energy solutions such as AI-driven EMS and IoT-based energy monitoring systems.

Work in tandem with mechanical energy solutions engineers to unify mechanical and electrical energy-saving strategies for comprehensive energy efficiency projects.

Stay informed about government incentives, rebates, and new technologies in energy efficiency.
