In this pivotal role, you will serve as the primary liaison for our health plan members, embodying the essence of our brand while providing invaluable support. Your mission is to cultivate meaningful relationships, enhance participation in health initiatives, and ensure that every member feels valued and understood.
This role demands native-level English proficiency. While candidates with English as a second language are encouraged to apply, it is crucial to demonstrate a neutral, professional accent for effective communication with our diverse member base.
Key Responsibilities
- Member Outreach & Relationship Development: Implement phone engagement strategies that prioritize member retention through trustworthy and compassionate communication.
- Strategic Implementation: Design and execute customized engagement plans to boost member involvement in health plan benefits and wellness programs.
- Feedback Collection & Insight Analysis: Listen attentively to members to uncover challenges, gather feedback, and identify opportunities for enhancing our provider network and care delivery.
- Collaboration Across Functions: Partner with Marketing, Operations, and Clinical teams to ensure alignment of engagement strategies with company objectives.
- Issue Management: Act as the first point of contact for addressing member inquiries and complex issues with promptness and empathy.
Qualifications
- Language Proficiency: Native English fluency is essential, along with outstanding verbal and written communication skills and a neutral accent.
- People Skills: A natural talent for building rapport quickly over the phone and handling sensitive discussions with patience and professionalism.
- No Specific Experience Required: Previous experience in the medical or healthcare industry is not necessary. We value your communication skills and ability to engage with people above all; we will provide the necessary industry training.
- Problem-Solving Attitude: Ability to think on your feet and resolve member inquiries while maintaining a positive demeanor.
- Organizational Ability: Proficient in managing outreach schedules and accurately documenting member interactions within a CRM or database.
Technical and Work Environment Requirements:
- Internet Access: Reliable primary internet connection with a minimum speed of 15 Mbps and a backup connection of at least 10 Mbps that can sustain work during power outages.
