We also value:A degree in electrical engineering or related qualifications, preferably with some professional experience. Strong technical knowledge of electrical systems (KG 440 and 450) or building automation (KG 480). Ideally, some project management experience. Fluency in German and good command of English, both spoken and written. Basic understanding of standards and regulations in Germany, including HOAI, BGB, VOB, and contract law.

The Opportunity

You will be responsible for innovative concepts, design, and execution planning for TGA technical planning related to electrical engineering (KG 440 and 450) or building automation (KG 480) at our Munich or Frankfurt locations.

As an Engineer / Specialist in TGA Electrical Engineering at Arup, you will:

  • Contribute to the development of innovative concepts and planning of electrical engineering.

  • Assist in the sizing and calculation of various electrical components.

  • Support in tenders and procurement processes.

  • Help with cost estimation and calculation.

  • Collaborate with colleagues from energy design, facade and structural planning, building physics, fire protection, and project management.

  • Oversee quality assurance in planning and execution.
