About the Role
We are seeking three Engineering Managers to join our Research & Development division in Paris, focusing on cultivating a robust engineering culture. This role is strictly managerial, aimed at leaders who find fulfillment in empowering high-performing teams rather than in personal technical achievements. You will report directly to our CTO and play a pivotal role in scaling our engineering practices, standardizing global processes, and alleviating leadership demands as we navigate a rapid growth phase.
Responsibilities
People Management & Mentorship: Serve as a dedicated manager for engineers, overseeing their career development, training, and performance evaluations.
Organizational Strategy: Contribute to the structural organization by optimizing modules and implementing necessary changes to align with the company's vision.
Process Standardization: Develop and enhance work processes across software and electrical engineering teams to ensure high-quality outcomes while maintaining execution speed.
Tooling Oversight: Oversee internal tooling requirements, making strategic decisions on whether to build or buy solutions to create the most productive environment for engineers.
Recruitment Leadership: Lead the recruitment efforts to attract and hire top-tier talent that meets our high standards.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with Module Leads, HR, and the CTO to maintain a holistic understanding of the organization's needs.
Candidate Requirements
Educational Background: A strong academic background in an Engineering discipline.
Technical Expertise: Proficiency in modern engineering practices and methodologies.
