YOUR MISSION

We are looking for an Engineering Manager of Missile Defense & Hypersonic Mechanical Engineering to spearhead a dynamic team of 6–10 mechanical engineers engaged in our interceptor, kill vehicle, and hypersonic flight vehicle initiatives. This leadership role is fundamentally about nurturing talent while remaining closely connected to the engineering process. Collaborating with fellow managers, you will share responsibility for the organizational health, best practices, standard processes, technical direction, recruitment, and career advancement of a team of engineers ranging from entry-level to staff engineers, all working on critical flight hardware designed to operate flawlessly in extreme thermal, aerodynamic, and high-g environments. You will work in close partnership with systems engineering, program management, aerodynamics, thermal, GN&C, and propulsion teams to ensure that the mechanical engineering function delivers flight-ready hardware efficiently, accurately, and with high quality across all current programs. If you are an experienced missile defense or hypersonic mechanical engineer ready to lead a team engaged in the most impactful flight vehicle design work in the defense sector, this is your calling.
